Question #1:
how much do they cost and are they friendly? if you could also tell me about how big they get that would be great. i am considering on getting one.

I have been researching Savannah cats and I think I fell in love with a F3 Male. I wasn't sure though if all of Ohio it was legal or in just parts. I can't seem to find it on the Internet and when I contact the wildlife place for Ohio, they don't understand and just give me papers on how to obtain a permit. -_-

My Cat was abandoned at the zoo that I worked at about 3 months ago. She is approximately 10 months old. She loves water and can jump about 4 feet off the ground straight up. She loves to play fetch and plays with her toys like a dog would, especially when she throws her toy up in the air to catch it. She is a hunter, a fly only lives in my house as long as she allows it to. she is most content on the days that she is allowed to go outside either on her leash or in her carrier. I think she is F4 Savannah or F4 savannah/bengal mix. no way to know as I don't have her medical records, but i thought that someone might be able to look at her pics and give me their educated guess. She has traits of savannah like the "eye liner" the broad flattish nose, the ears, the ringed tail with a black tip, Etc. She is very Lean and Long and tall. She stands about knee high on me and I'm 5'8". Idk waddya think?

Obviously I don't have papers because she was abandoned. Also I think it's really rude to post that I'm "delusional" to think she has any traits of a Savannah breed. I never said she was A Savannah, just said maybe she might have Savannah Lineage, That's why i put F4 instead of F2. All i know for sure is that she is not the average cat, I've had housecats since I was a toddler and this one acts like a dog in cat's body.

I am a groomer for 8 years and for 2 of them I have been groming a Savannah cat. I did not know that is what he was till today. He is the coolest cat ever. She rescued him in california. I have looked up some on them. I would more like to rescue one. I have just never seen another cat that was this sweet, and love a bath like cat nip.
I dont knw why people bring me short haird cat either, but I dont turn away money. I was joking with the lady how he was the same size as the Boiken I had. That was when she told me what he was an F8 savannah. Thst is more my price than a F1. But my hubbie colects classic cars and I get either a project car or a pet.

So I live in Michigan but might move to Illinois soon. MY question is that I want to get a serval or savannah cat, why should I care if its illegal? How is the police department ( haha my future job) going to find out? From what I hear, insurance jumps up and thats if its even legal in that area. So why should'nt I just sneak it in and keep it a secret?

Occasionally, I have a dream that a tiger or lion is in the building or area that Im in and I'm trying to escape from the place without it seeing or catching me.
Does anyone else ever dream of the big cats as the scary predators in dreams, or is it just me?
Also, why is it only big cats? Is this a blueprint fear of big cats as the main predators when we evolved on the savannah?

my husband wants a Savannah Cat and I want a Bengal Cat. I understand they are both hybrid breeds and therefore not like other regular domestic cats. We have done tons of research into both breeds and while we like both my hubby prefers the Savannah while I prefer the Bengal. At least we both agreed we would like to have an early generation. hopefully F1 but no later than F4.
Anyways... Those of you who have these breeds either one or both which do you think is better for a couple who has more experience with domestic cats and none with hybrids.

On e you think your finished having kids, your neighbor is having triplet girls, she is only sixteen and never wanted kids, you name them all, whatever you want

Here's the deal. I have had a cat for about 3 years now. I have decided to get a new cat about 2 years old. I have brought the new one home from the pound and had her checked out by a vet before bringing her home. The pound gave me some anti-biotics because she has infected her surgery site for the spay procedure. She was spayed about a month ago. So she's not feeling too well and my current cat (Savannah) is acting aggressively towards her. I let Savannah see her and then I proceeded to put her in the closet with food, water, toys, and a litter box. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, and my roommate doesn't want the new cat in his room so the only choices I have are the bathroom or my closet (which is a big walk in type). I don't feel comfortable with her in the bathroom. Savannah's litter box, food, and water are in my room, so I can't lock the new cat in my room.
I've brushed the new cat with a brush and set it out for Savannah to smell. She hissed at it and attacked it. As well as being not happy with me for the new intruder. When I bought Savannah from a rescue facility she was in the pen with 2 of her siblings, so I figured hopefully she would appreciate a new friend.
So what do you think, is the closet ok for a few days till they get used to each other??? I plan to let the new one out to roam the house every now and then (guarded of course lol) so that she gets some exercise, but for now she seems content to just sleep anyways.
I've got a fan on in there, as well as the light. So no problems there. The only reason I don't want her in the bathroom is because it's just me and a male roommate. So 2 guys living in an apartment not too worried about a dirty restroom lol. But I wouldn't want something to have to live in there if you know what I mean.

When I get a little bit older I'm thinking of buying a serval or a savannah cat,specifally serval. Please don't jump don't my throat and think I just want one because it would be cool. I think they are a beautiful breed and I am willing to dedicate the time and training they require as well as their nutritional needs. I have looked extensively into their specific breed(Serval) and I am compassionate and caring about animals and I know that a serval requires alot of patience and training to get it to be sociable and that you cannot just send it to the pound if you don't want it because of the close bonds they form with their owners. Although I would prefer a serval,I would also like to look into Savannah cats if a serval is not possible.
I am just wondering if anyone knows of any breeders in Canada,specifically NB or around that area,but anywhere in Canada is fine. Also,what is the average price range of A Serval or of an F1 Savannah?

Most cats avoid strangers and aren't much of lap cats, one of those cats is my favorite Egyptian Mau.
The only cat i know to be very social, loving and loyal is the Savannah but its illegal in NYC.
So what cat breed is warm, isn't afraid of much things, playful, loyal and is a lap cat and doesn't hide or hiss at strangers and other animals.

So this is kinda just went down last weekend and my friends are Serena, Savannah, and Cathryn. We have been friends for a very long time and are going into high school.
•Serena and I had plans to hangout Friday.
•Serena texted me Friday and said, “haha I’m at the movies with cat, sav, alex, and kelly”.
•Savannah and I had plans to see Charlie St. Cloud on Saturday and she promised me she wouldn’t see it without me.
•Next day when me and Savannah went to see Charlie St. Cloud savannah told me that Serena said, “All Brandy ever does is sit on the computer all day and watch TV.”
•Savannah also said that Serena said, “omg brandy keeps calling and texting me, I don’t want to hangout with her.”
•Cathryn said something similar to what savannah said.
•Serena denied everything that savannah and Cathryn said that she said about me.
•Serena said that Cathryn told Serena to text me.
•Serena said that savannah told her to not tell me that they saw Charlie St. Cloud.
•I already knew that Savannah saw Charlie St. Cloud cause:
~ 1. Savannah said she ran into Serena at the movies and they just all “sat” together.
~ 2. I knew Serena saw Charlie St. Cloud because Alex posted it on her status and since they were all together I put the pieces together.
~ 3. Savannah seemed to know what was going to happen when we saw the movie.
~ 4. My sister asked savannah if that’s what they saw last night but she lied and said no.
•Serena’s excuse for ditching me was that she has been really busy and gets invited to go everywhere and always forgets shit.
Conclusion: I don’t think I will ever really find out what they really said about me the night they all went to the movies. Savannah lied and broke her promise of not seeing Charlie St. Cloud without me. Serena is too busy for me. No matter what anyone ever says, they all talk shit. Overall, I think Cathryn is the most honest out of all of them. Will I ever find my true friends?
