My persian cat had just give birth to beautiful kittens but the question is, how should i know if the kittens were suckling or not? it's been 2 hours already for them to wander around their mother belly without any sign of suckling. and, also, my cat is ginger color while the male is white color, is it possible for them to produce black litter? i just had one.......
Question #2:
Iranian or Persian?
"I am Purrrrsion. I am not dangerous. I am Purrrsion. Like a cat, meow. I am Purrrsion like the rug." - Maz Jobrani (comedian)
Abdullahi: Yes, I know.
Question #3:
or what and for how long,as my cat angus is a 15 year old persian , and vet is pretty sure he has lymomona, in the intestines mainly.but vet has not offered , or suggested chemotherapy, he is only on prednicare. why has he not been offered it.i must add that angus will not let vet handle him easy,he has always got to get a anasthetic for any treatment, he recieves. i would like some advice about this before i talk to vet as i want to know what i am talking about and what i am up against
Question #4:
Well, yesterday I got a new kitten. I had gotten one 5 days back as well. The new one is a 3 month old Persian while the other one is 3.5 months old and a non-pedigree. Both are males and not neutered. Yesterday, it seemed the new one was getting afraid and was backing away.
The old kitten was hissing more. But after a while, the new one entered the old one's room and for some reason, the old one backed away and hid in the fridge. I guess I introduced them too soon.
My mom told me to put the new one in a cat cage carrier thing and take him to the old one. Even then, the new one growled and hissed and the old one did that as well for about 10 seconds, then backed away in fear. When we adopted the old one, they told us he's good with other animals..I can believe that as he eventually calmed down.
But the other one seems very aggressive. He does tend to attack my hands, but that's only 'cause the previous owners never taught him not to. Otherwise, he's pretty friendly and can be carried with no problem. Will they become friends, or is the new kitten an aggressive one and being friends is impossible?
Question #5:
cat. he has lost weight and is on a steroid pill.called prednicare. i can usually tell when they are ill or in pain, as it was why i noticed he was ill in the first place.he is constantly meowing , but we moved here about 4 months ago and he has a garden for the first time and he loves it, so i cant tell if he is meowing to get out in garden, or if in pain, as he has always moaned to get out
no this is not going to bea easy task for me, and i know im not the first with this suffering, but angus is not my first either, as i put butch to sleep last year he was 19, then before that mickey she was 17, but then i always had angus to fall back on as i love cats, but saying that i have a special bond with angus. i wont be able to let go easy. he is a great cat, i dont know how i will manage as that cat has been my life, i sleep on my left side and when i awake i morning angus is lying sleeping in my arms next to me. i feel his soft warm fur, also he goea for walks with me on a leasthe. in field behind house, also he gooes on his spescial place 4 times a day to get groomed, meets me when i get in with a big meaw i will never get over him and have all ready broke down in vets because he was not eating, i dont intend to take him to surgery if he gets bad i intend having it done at home as cat screams and claws at everyone and has to have anaethetic , so i intend lessing his agony
yes cynthia angus has had a great life with me.he has wanted for nothing and had all the best treatment at vets but he has well paid me back, the love he has given me cannot be bought
Question #6:
Well, we currently have a 3 and a half month old male kitten in the house. We adopted him and the fosterer said that he gets along with other cats and dogs. My friend's friend is giving away a 3 month old kitten who's also a male.
Wouldn't they constantly fight? I'm very worried about the new kitten's personality..what if he's not too good with other animals? I don't think the one we currently have would do anything. If we were to get both of them neutered, would the chance of both of them fighting be eliminated? (We have to get the current one neutered anyway, 'cause we signed for it).
If it helps, the current one isn't a pedigree. It's just a normal cat (Dunno what they're called :P). The new one is a Persian kitten. Also, we've never microchipped kittens before. The current one we have was already microchipped. Around how much does microchipping cost?
Question #7:
NO BEAGLES, TERRIERS, LABS. (long story on each). A small - medium sized dog that is between 15-30 pounds. (give or take a few pounds). a good dog that loves to run and jog for long periods of time, so no flat faced dogs. That will get along well with 2, 4 year old male persian cats. short fur dogs are preferred. I will be adopting!!! yeah!!!! so anny dogs I could choose, i would like to know now so i can do research on the breed. ;) thanks!

Question #10:
I have kept cats as pets in the past and I have always let them out.
Some friends of mine are breeding persian cats and there is now an opportunity for me to purchase a persian kitten in October. I am worried that if I let the cat out it will be stolen but I'm also concerned that keeping the cat permanently indoors is cruel.
Is it cruel to keep cats indoors?
What are your opinions on this?

Question #14:
I used to have a couple of 13 years old Siamese and a month ago one of them got sick and died at the clinic within two days. The Vet told me that he had a prostate cancer. Since then his brother was feeling so lonely and kept calling him and waiting for him at the door, which made me get one month old kitten to give him company and keep him busy, but the little one was too playful for my old cat. So, I got him another two years old Persian for the same purpose, which was ok; they didn't fight at all, but they avoid each other most of the time. Since two days my old cat stopped eating or drinking. He rarely comes down to eat, and whenever he did, I noticed that he wanted to eat, but he was not able to. The Vet will be closed for tonight and tomorrow, but I can call her tomorrow on the emergency number. The question is; what do I do till I manage to get a professional advice. How do I make him eat, or at least drink water?
Question #15:
I really wanna buy a Persian Putty, they are so freaking cute..But i dunno if we can train them...I seriously dont want a cat scratching around my furniture or my my curtains...
I have a highly trained Alsatian (German Shephard)... We had a dog trainer for him when he was 3 months old , but i never heard of a 'cat trainer'..So am confused....
Question #16:
hi, i have a white Persian punched face and he's only 3 months old. i'm facing two major problems in him these days, can you please help?
1. he doesn't clean himself after doing poop and walks around the house all dirty then i have to give him shower every 3rd day because of him stinking too much. i potty trained him though.
2. he don't eat the cat food very fondly, he loves to drink milk, and as i keep a bowl of water aside he never bothers to drink that, he'd rather prefer to drink water from a toilet bowl, and he fell sick a few weeks back, i showed him to a doctor and he got injected twice for he got this diseas called gastro.
no i showed him to doctor twice, he's not having diarrhea but i'll make sure to let someone cut his hair
Question #17:
I got my cat at a shelter a few months ago. She is a spayed tortoiseshell persian. She cries a lot and wants attention, but won't sit on my lap or cuddle like most cats do. She allows pettting on her head and back. She was declawed when I got her and she is about 5 years old. She is very nice natured, but I wish she would let me cuddle and hold her. Any suggestions?
Question #18:
For about 5 months, our cat (persian) has been pooping on our very expensive couch! We have tried EVERYTHING, she still uses her litter box to pee, but not to poo. She can't be under stress because we play with her for about a half hour a day and even bought a relaxing spray for her to "calm her down"
We also put stick stuff on the couch but she just poos where there is no sticky stuff, and she doesn't seem to mindthe citrus spray we use.
She keeps pooping on the couch and it is making us bonkers! We have tried everything they suggest on the internet and in the books, but she just keeps at it!
DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYWAY TO MAKE HER STOP?
Also we called the vet and she recommended an animal behaviorist but that is very expensive for one sentence of advice. PLEASE HELP!
Question #19:

The pet food recall scared us into making our own cat food at home. We did alot of research into cat nutrition requirements and went through alot of trial and error trying out new recipes for the cats - seeing what they liked and what they didn't. We ended up with quite a few super yummy recipes. Our friends begged us to share the recipes with them and we realized there were probably lots of other cat owners out there that would love to try these cat food recipes out on their cat too! So, 123 CatFood.com came into being. It really is as easy as 1-2-3.
