Question: Is there any way I can get my school involved in helping this animal shelter?

( Back )

Answer #1:

Maybe talk to the Principal, or see if you can talk during the morning annoucments to get people aware (:

Answer #2:

Talk to your principal. A donation jar in each class might do the trick.

Answer #3:

You could start it yourself! Talk to a teacher about organizing something, announce it over the P.A. during announcements, put up flyers, get friends together.
You could also organize a school wide fundraiser for it, like a car wash or something along those lines.
A cool idea would be organizing a school dance, with an admission price with all proceeds going to the shelter.

Answer #4:

Kids at my school tell their home room teacher or one of there teachers and they usually tell you what to do. At my school we have this thing called " community" we have it once a month. We share ideas on what we should do to make the school a better place and community a better place. If you have something like that share your idea. But you could always go to a principle

Answer #5:

There should be a club at your school that does volunteering either PAWS or KEY club.
Let the club president know and they would be more than willing to help you raise funds for a cause, because it not only helps out the animals but is what those clubs are for.

Answer #6:

organize a school club [if your in high school its a lot better to start clubs there] or you could talk to the principal about your idea. at my high school we have a humane society club. it for community service and we go out and volunteer at animal shelters. & also theres other clubs out there called KEY club. its a community service club. its in many schools. my friends are in it.

The pet food recall scared us into making our own cat food at home. We did alot of research into cat nutrition requirements and went through alot of trial and error trying out new recipes for the cats - seeing what they liked and what they didn't. We ended up with quite a few super yummy recipes. Our friends begged us to share the recipes with them and we realized there were probably lots of other cat owners out there that would love to try these cat food recipes out on their cat too! So, 123 CatFood.com came into being. It really is as easy as 1-2-3.
